Bobby Van’s, founded in 1969, was originally renowned as the gathering place for such literary giants as James Jones and John Knowles. It is even rumored that Truman Capote finished his novel In Cold Blood in the original Bobby Van’s. This legacy can be seen today in the art and photographs decorating the dining room.
